Advanced Alternative Treatment for Antiphospholipid Syndrome
Antiphospholipid Syndrome
Antiphospholipid Syndrome, or APS, is an autoimmune disease that causes the body’s antibodies to attack the phospholipids or fat cells. The disease targets the proteins that bind to the fat cells. It is sometimes referred to as Hughes’s Syndrome and can be associated with Lupus, another autoimmune disease.
Symptoms of Antiphospholipid Stndrome
Antiphospholipid Syndrome is characterized by pregnancy-related complications such as recurrent miscarriages within the first trimester, unexpected small babies or birth weights, and pregnancy related hypertension. It also can causes blood clots to form in vessels or thrombosis to develop in veins or arteries.
