Advanced Alternative Leukemia Treatment

Stop feeling helpless – you still have options!

Leukemia is a type of cancer the affects the bone marrow, which is the soft, spongy center of the bone that produces different types of blood cells. Approximately 45,000 people are diagnosed each year with leukemia in the United States with an average of 22,000 leukemia-related deaths per year. In most cases, the bone marrow produces too many immature white blood cells that are abnormally spaced and do not function they way they are meant to. As these cells multiple and crowd the bone marrow, they interfere with the
functioning of the other blood cell types. As these immature white cells move into the body, they collect in various places and cause pain and swelling.

Common symptoms include a lack of blood platelets, decreased immune system function and anemia. Platelets are important in the body’s blood clotting process and when they are decreased, patients can suffer with bruising and excessive bleeding. In many leukemia patients, white blood cells may become suppressed or dysfunctional leading to the immune system being unable to fight off simple infections or starting to attack other cells in the body. Finally, a deficiency in red blood cells can lead to anemia which may case many other symptoms including fatigue, weakness and trouble breathing.

Although leukemias account for nearly 1/3 of cancers in children, it is much more common in adults. In 2006, approximately 36,000 adults and 2,800 children were diagnosed with leukemia. As medicine advances, the success rates for treating leukemia patients has improved. The death rate for adults has declined 20% and for children has declined nearly 60%. In many cases, leukemia is treatable.

At Sunridge Medical, our highly-trained physicians are experts in providing an integrated approach to the treatment of leukemia. Our treatment plans are individualized, even for patients with the same type of cancer, and involve both traditional and alternative medicines. We have integrated advanced, research-based alternative medicines with conventional therapies into a comprehensive, individualized treatment program that offers patients optimal success.

Our physicians have found that symptoms can frequently be improved and even reversed with our natural leukemia treatments.
